Unsure which committee to join? We’ve outlined what you can expect as a volunteer for each one.

Bike Rodeo Committee
The Bike Rodeo Committee plans and carries out all aspects of the annual Bike Rodeo event. Responsibilities include purchasing bikes and repair supplies, organizing setup and cleanup, assisting with event operations, and promoting the event to the community. Committee members also work directly with kids and families—helping with bike safety activities, repairs, and hands-on learning—to ensure a safe, fun, and impactful experience for everyone involved.

Trap Shoot Committee
The Trap Shoot Committee is responsible for planning and organizing every aspect of the annual Trap Shoot event. Their duties include coordinating registration for shooters, promoting the event through advertising, and securing items for the silent auction. They plan and arrange the lunch, select and prepare awards, and ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish. Committee members also assist with setup before the event and clean-up afterward, helping create a fun, successful experience for all participants.

Pasture Golf Committee
THIS IS NOT YOUR AUNT HATTIE’S TYPICAL 9 HOLES OF GOLF!  This committee is responsible for quite possibly the most fun event of the summer!  No golf experience is needed—just a willingness to help create a fun and successful event!
Committee members coordinate team registration, promote the tournament through advertising and social media, and secure sponsorships and silent auction items. They will plan the lunch, select and prepare prizes and awards, and organize on-course games. The committee also oversees event logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Burn the Point Committee
The Burn the Point Classic Car Weekend Committee plays a vital role in making this signature event a success from start to finish. Committee members help secure event sponsors, register cars for the parade, sell merchandise, block streets, set up and remove barricades, and assist with cleanup after the parade.

During the car show, members are needed to drive golf carts to shuttle guests from parking areas, collect fees at the entrance gate, hang signs and banners, direct traffic, register cars, haul garbage, and maintain the event area throughout the day. They also assist with end-of-day cleanup. This committee is essential to ensuring a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for participants and spectators alike.

Cowboy Gatherin’ Dinner Dance Committee
The Cowboy Gatherin’ Dinner & Dance Committee helps plan and execute one of our most exciting fundraising events of the year. Members are responsible for gathering and organizing live and silent auction items, assisting with guest check-in and check-out, and helping run activities during the event — including the silent auction, booze pull, and more. Their teamwork and support ensure a fun, smooth, and successful evening for all attendees.

Rodeo Committee
The Rodeo Committee plays an important role in supporting and enhancing the rodeo experience. Members help hang sponsor banners prior to the event, set up merchandise booths, and work as ticket takers for the hospitality room, along with assisting with other tasks as needed. This committee does not involve working with livestock or behind the chutes — that team is hand-selected and already full. Instead, these members ensure the event runs smoothly, looks great, and provides a welcoming experience for guests and sponsors alike.

Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee is responsible for reviewing applications and selecting deserving recipients for the Chase Hawks Memorial Association’s annual scholarships. Through a fair and thoughtful evaluation process, the committee helps support students in achieving their educational goals while honoring the mission and values of our organization.

Donor Committee
The Donor Committee is dedicated to securing the financial support needed to sustain and grow the mission of the Chase Hawks Memorial Association. By building and nurturing relationships with donors, exploring new funding opportunities, and identifying innovative financial tools, the committee ensures our organization has the resources to continue making a meaningful impact.

Community Engagement Committee
The Community Engagement Committee works to build strong connections between the Chase Hawks Memorial Association and the community we serve. Through creative marketing, strategic outreach, and effective use of social media, the committee helps share our mission, highlight our impact, and tell the stories that inspire support and involvement.
