We are a Montana based 501c3 dedicated to providing financial assistance to families facing crisis. For over 25 years our efforts have provided over 1 million dollars in grants to people facing tragedy, health crisis or unforeseen circumstances in south central Montana and northern Wyoming.

Throughout the year we host a variety of events that bring our community together and raise much needed funds. All proceeds raised are put back into our crisis fund so that we can help those in need. These events not only bring awareness to our cause but also promote community and reflect on our mission of neighbors helping neighbors. Are you or someone you know in need of assistance? Our grant submission application can be found under the Crisis link. Our grants cover a wide array of expenses, from travel for medical treatment, vehicle repairs, or groceries and more. Anyone, regardless of income or demographic, is eligible to apply and applications are kept confidential. What makes CHMA unique is our ability to assist quickly with expenses often not covered by other resources. We fill in the gaps so folks can focus on what is really important.
